File and ward round trolleys as companions for the daily rounds

What does ward round actually mean?
The ward round is part of the daily routine on a ward in a hospital. One or more doctors visit the patient to talk to him about his condition, to explain the diagnosis or to coordinate upcoming therapies.
Tasks and participants during the ward round
During the ward round it is important to cover both the medical interests and the interests of the patient. The anamnesis, the documentation of the patient’s medical history or a general exchange of information between doctor and patient are the focus of the ward round. However, it is not only the communication with the patient that is important, but also the coordination between the colleagues regarding the further procedure and therapy.
Depending on the patient and his medical history, sometimes a larger group of people takes part in the ward round. These include, for example, the chief physician, the ward physician, students or even health and nurses.
Data protection has top priority
The two upper sliding trays of the file and ward round trolley also serve as a desk pad and are equipped with a cylindrical lock as standard. Alternatively, a lockable roller blind can also be ordered. Both variants guarantee maximum data protection and prevent unauthorised access to the files.
User-friendly file and ward round trolleys
The standard push handle simplifies the navigation of the card-index and visit trolley. The height of the trolley, including the push bar, is about 900 mm. Four smooth-running swivel castors with a diameter of 125 mm, two of which are equipped with a stop function, guarantee easy movement of the file and ward round trolley. The plastic chassis protects the walls from damage.
Individual configured file and ward round trolley
On request, the file and ward round trolleys can be equipped with up to two pull-outs in the lower part of the cabinet. The height of two pull-outs increases by 220 mm. Please bear this in mind when planning your file and ward round trolley.
